About me


I’m Virginia. I’m a freelance journalist and originally from Hamburg, Germany. I write articles for newspapers and magazines about people, ideas and economy with a focus on Italy.

I received my journalistic training at the Axel Springer Akademie and in the business department of Die Welt in Berlin. Afterwards, I was an editor for the German business magazine Bilanz.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in German language and literature and latin american studies from the University of Hamburg and an Erasmus Mundus Master’s degree in media, journalism and globalization from the University of Aarhus, Denmark and the University of Hamburg.
